Fantasia Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer's Apprentice Buckets Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1940)

Fantasia Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer's Apprentice Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1940). Most Disney fans agree that Mickey Mouse's greatest role is as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, which was animated by the great Fred Moore. This is a matching pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse and his water buckets from the Sorcerer's Apprentice Sequence in Fantasia. The first features a contrite full-body Mickey measuring 4" tall. It is numbered 79C in the lower right corner and bears a studio scene stamp in the lower left. The second drawing is from the same scene and features Mickey's buckets along with various animator and inker notes. It is numbered H-3 in the lower right corner and bears the same scene stamp as Mickey in the lower left. Each is rendered in graphite with red and green pencil on 12 field 5-peghole paper. Both drawings exhibit handling and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
