Alice in Wonderland Production Cel on Key Master Production Background Walt Disney, 1951)

Alice in Wonderland Production Cel on Key Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1951). Oh Mr. Rabbit, wait!" yells Alice as she follows the very late White Rabbit down the rabbit hole. This is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of a full-figure Alice who stands 6" tall. The cel is trimmed to the image and mounted on a clear cover cel over its Key Master hand-painted production background. This is a fantastic image that appears right before she comes upon the talking Doorknob. Backgrounds in this film were painted by Ray Huffine, Art Riley, Dick Anthony, Ralph Hulett, Brice Mack, and Thelma Witmer. This particular background was painted by Claude Coats and can be seen on page 469 in the book Treasures of Disney Animation Art. Key Master setups from this classic Disney feature are as rare and desirable as they come. It is in a 24" x 20" frame with a mat opening of 11" x 15". This is one of the finest Alice pieces we have brought to auction. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as is
