Eyvind Earle Lady and the Tramp Concept Art/Background Color Key (Walt Disney, 1955)

After Lady and Tramp finish their Belle Notte spaghetti dinner, they stroll into the park. This is an outstanding concept art/background Color Key painting of when they walk into the park, with the lit boathouse seen in the distance. This is right before they put their paws into the wet cement. This lovely piece was painted by Disney Legend Inductee Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000). Mr. Earle did backgrounds in Lady and the Tramp along with Claude Coats, Dick Anthony, Ralph Hulett, Al Dempster, Thelma Witmer, Jim Trout, Ray Huffine, and Brice Mack. Stunning painting, in gouache on board measuring 12" x 6". Signed by Eyvind Earle in the bottom right corner. His signature-style tree is behind the pups. Lady and Tramp are 1.5" - 2". Pinholes in corners. Very Good condition.
