Song of the South Original Storyboard Animation Art (Walt Disney, 1946)
$2,100.00
Song of the South was directed by Wilfred Jackson and Harve Foster and released on 11/20/46. The film is set in the Deep South during the Reconstruction era. In the film Uncle Remus tells three tales of Br'er Rabbit and his enemies Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear. From Song of the South we have a very rare storyboard panel. Storyboards are used as a graphic portrayal of how the film will unfold, shot by shot. The mixed media illustration measures 7" x 5" and features Br'er Bear. Any animation art from Song of the South is arguably very rare making this a must have for animation collectors and Disney enthusiasts. The piece has pinholes in the corners where they were pinned to the story wall. Very Good condition. Certificate of Authenticity from The Cricket Gallery
