Fantasia "Dance of the Hours" Hyacinth Hippo Animation Drawing Walt Disney, 1941

Fantasia "Dance of the Hours" Hyacinth Hippo Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940).  Sequence of 4 Drawings.  Animating tutu-wearing Hyacinth Hippo in Fantasia was one of the plum assignments given to Preston Blair (1908 - 1995) during his seven-year stay at the Disney Studios. Hyacinth is the polar opposite of Mr. Blair's most famous dancing cartoon creation, Red Hot, but nonetheless charming in her plus-size way! Here's a remarkable drawing of  12 field 5-peghole rough animation drawing of Hyacinth as she gracefully pirouettes around. Condition is Good to Very Good, with some handling and edge wear, and paper toning. Certificate of Authenticity from The Cricket Gallery
