The animation storyboard is the first sight of what a cartoon or piece of animation is going to look like. They are reproduced and given to the animators working on the film.  The animation storyboard looks like a series of strip comics, with individual drawings of storylines, scenes, characters and their emotions and other major parts of the movie. The drawings will reflect the early ideas of what characters will look like, what the backgrounds and scenery will be some idea of dialogue, emotions ,and a general feel of the animation process. Storyboards are very important, as they form the basis of the work that is carried out on the movie, describing most of the major features as well as the plot and its development.  Animation storyboards are also the coordinating vehicle of the film, taking the place of the script, and allowing different teams of people to work on different aspects and scenes in the movie. A studio like Pixar will have thousands of storyboard frames like the one shown here. The finished movie may not always conform to all aspects of the storyboard, but they will document many of the early developments in the movie. They are often the first step of the animation process, as they show the first views - albeit static - of the animation process.

Underdog is an American animated television series that debuted October 3, 1964, on the NBC network under the primary sponsorship of General Mills, and continued in syndication until 1973, for a run of approximately 124 episodes.  Underdog, Shoeshine Boy’s heroic alter-ego, appeared whenever love interest Sweet Polly Purebred was being victimized by such villains as Simon Bar Sinister or Riff Raff. Underdog always speaks in rhymes, such as, “There’s no need to fear, Underdog is here!” His voice was supplied by Wally Cox.

The syndicated version of The Underdog Show consists of 62 half-hour episodes. The supporting segments differ from the show's original network run. The first 26 syndicated episodes feature Tennessee Tuxedo as a supporting segment (Tennessee Tuxedo originally aired as a separate show, and also has its own syndicated adaptation). Thereafter, for most of the balance of the package, the middle segments include Go Go Gophers and Klondike Kat for three consecutive, half-hours, and Tennessee Tuxedo in the fourth.

SHIPPING: We strive to ship within 1 day of cleared payment. We treat every item we sell with the extra care it deserves. Cels, drawings and sculptures are packed so that they will stay safe during every step of the shipping process. Due to the packing materials we use our shipping prices may seem higher than other sellers who might put a cel into a tube or thin envelope. We are not making a profit on shipping. Only the cost we pay is passed along to you. Please let us know if you need to receive your purchase by a particular date. Email with any questions or concerns.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS TAKE NOTE: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. All Customs Forms will reflect the ACTUAL price that the bidder paid for the merchandise. [For example, I will not claim on the customs form that the bidder paid $10.00, if the bidder actually paid $30.00] Please do not ask us to do so.

Note: All items are shipped FOB. This means that the sellers (The Cricket Gallery’s) liability for the item ends upon our delivery of the package to the shipping agent. It is the Buyers responsibility to insure the package against loss, damages or other unforeseen circumstances. Should the Buyer want The Cricket Gallery, to provide insurance we will do so at the Buyer’s request in writing and upon the payment of an additional charge for such insurance. Buyers outside the USA are likewise responsible for insurance as well as all taxes, tariffs, customers and other charges imposed for international shipments.
